I submitted some pictures to the literary magazine at IUPUI in February and they accepted them then. What they didn't tell me until I got an e-mail today was that I got the Best in Art award. Here's a quote from the email:

"Congratulations, once again, on winning the genesis Best of Art Prize
for Fall 2006!

You are cordially invited to the Fall 2006 genesis Release Party. Join
us for an art exhibition, contributor readings, and refreshments on
Thursday, September 28th at 7:00pm in University Library’s Lilly
Auditorium. Your $100 Borders gift certificate will be presented to you
at the genesis Release Party.

Your work is very important to us, and we hope you will be able to
attend the party and bring Steam Streets and Street Light to the event
for an original exhibition."

So yeah. Apparently more than a few people think my art is good. w00t.
